          5. FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

** When replacing exhaust pipe by user or by technician, please remove the connector of Oxygen
Sensor. The Legend Sticker (as shown in the following figure) is on Fan Cap.

                        Please remove the connector of
                        oxygen Sensor before dismounting
                        Exhaust Pipe



Checking the main wiring end voltage and resistance of Main body of Oxygen Sensor


Check voltage of power pin of Oxygen Sensor:
Remove Lead Wire Connector of Oxygen Sensor and remove Oxygen sensor. Turn Multimeter to
DC V20V Position. + connect to power pin of main wiring end, - connect to vehicle frame. If
normal, it shall be same as battery voltage
Check Resistance of Heater of Oxygen Sensor Main Body
Turn Multimeter to 200 ohm Position + end connect to the power pin of Oxygen Sensor Main Body,
- end connects to heater pin. The normal value shall be 7.7+/-1.2 ohm.
Check the output voltage of Oxygen Sensor Feedback Signal
Connect a multimeter between Oxygen Sensor Main Body to Main Wiring and turn it to DCV20V
Position. + end shall be connected to the output line of feedback signal of Oxygen Sensor at main
wiring set and ­ end shall be connected to vehicle frame. The normal value shall be less than 5V
(about 3.73 ­ 3.9 V)
